Tennis is a demanding sport, and Stefanos Tsitsipas proved he had the durability when Nadal posed a massive challenge. Not many predicted the 22-year-old to pull off the comeback after dropping the first two sets, and former Los Angeles Lakers player Mychal Thompson had massive praise for Tsitsipas.

Mychal was overwhelmed with Tsitsipas’ win and immediately crowned him as one of Greece’s best athletes ever. Furthermore, he compared Tsitsipas with his compatriot and two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and attributed the nickname ‘Unique Greek’ to the former for his spectacular talent.

Mychal Thompson is the father of current Golden State Warriors player Klay Thompson, who is a five-time NBA All-Star and a three-time champion as well.
