After witnessing some quality tennis at the Laver Cup 2021, it’s time for the Indian Wells Masters 2021. The ATP 1000 Masters tournament will be kicking off from October 4, 2021. Fans are excited by the prospect of mouth-watering encounters in the desert. However, there are speculations about whether Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic will play at the tournament or not.

The ‘Big 3’ haven’t competed together in a tennis tournament since the French Open 2021. There too, Roger Federer withdrew after the first week of the Grand Slam.

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal to skip the Indian Wells Masters 2021

It is a huge disappointment for fans that Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal will not be playing at the Indian Wells Masters 2021. Interestingly, 2021 is the first time since 2000 that neither of the ‘Big 3’ will feature at the BNP Paribas Open.

While Federer and Nadal have already ended their 2021 season because of injuries, Djokovic recently announced that he would not be taking part at the Masters event this year. Thus, it gives the next-gen superstars a golden opportunity to shine on the court.
