Roger Federer, throughout his time on the ATP tour, remained calm and collected, both while on the brink of breaking records or facing opponents who will try to get on his nerves. There have been only a few instances in which Federer has shown his anger. In 2015, Federer fired back at Boris Becker, the coach of Novak Djokovic at the time, as he kept talking about their spat in the media.
Federer and Djokovic shared an intense rivalry, as they would often face each other in the latter stages of major tournaments. The ‘Djoker’ is one of the few names on the ATP Tour who got the better of the ‘Swiss Maestro’ at his stomping ground, the Wimbledon Championships.

When Roger Federer hit back at Boris Becker
As per the Mirror UK, prior to the 2015 Wimbledon final between Nole and Federer, Becker did not hold back on his opinion of the Swiss star. The German coach talked about the slight feud between the two stars and mentioned that Federer would do anything to stay neutral and away from controversy in order to maintain his clean image.

Federer was not happy with the statements made by Becker. He replied to Becker’s words, saying that he has no idea what he’s talking about. He said, “Becker really has no idea. He should know me well enough to know that I am a relaxed guy.”

Federer’s comeback did not end there. He was disheartened by the situation, as Becker was once his idol.
He added, “It is always dangerous when you are talking a lot. Sometimes you say things you should not. Of course I didn’t like what he said. After all, he was once my idol.”

But Federer didn’t deny about him having issues with the Djoker in the past, as he said, “It is well know that I initially had problems with Novak’s manner on court but now he behaves wonderfully and fairly. I have no problem with Novak.”
Another instance of Federer being taunted by Becker
This was not the only time Federer was taunted by his idol. In his autobiography, ‘Boris Becker’s Wimbledon: My Life and Career at the All England Club’, Becker taunted Federer, saying that he does not show his real self to stay lucrative. Federer was surprised at his comments and even said that they got along well, so his comments came out of nowhere.

Federer said he looked into the comments as a selling point for the book. Becker and Federer haven’t had any banter for quite some time. With both in different places of their life at present, the two have certainly moved on.
