It has been a memorable US Open tournament for the local stars. While Jessica Pegula is into her maiden Grand Slam final here, the likes of Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe will take on each other in what promises to be a thrilling encounter. However, ahead of the high-intensity match, there has been some hilarious exchange between the two camps.

There has been massive support for Tiafoe and Fritz at the ongoing Grand Slam tournament in New York. Their girlfriends, Ayan Broomfield and Morgan Riddle have also been vocal in support of their boyfriends at the mega-event. Before Tiafoe and Fritz go against each other, the former’s girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield took to social media to share a hilarious moment with Tiafoe.

Broomfield shared a series of pictures and clips on Instagram from her time at the US Open. In one of the clips, she could be seen engaging in a hilarious romantic banter with Tiafoe. While she was about to spill some secrets, Tiafoe playfully put his hand on her mouth and nodded with a wry smile. Subsequently, Broomfield burst into laughter as their hilarious exchange went viral on Instagram. It even caught the attention of Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle who also got involved into their playful yet romantic banter. She commented, “Second slide hahaha I love.”

This isn’t the first time that Tiafoe and Broomfield have had an interesting exchange on social media. Last year, Tiafoe accomplished a special feat which was praised by Broomfield.

Back in June 2023, Tiafoe entered the top 10 of the ATP rankings on the back of a consistent run. Thrilled with her boyfriend’s feat, Broomfield shared a series of glimpses of Tiafoe’s on-court achievements over the years. Additionally, she wrote, “TOP 10 IN THE WORLD! I started taking screenshots of different moments and accomplishments a few years ago in anticipation of this day. I can’t post them all but I think this tells the story pretty well. I am so proud of you.”

Reading the special message from Broomfield, Tiafoe reminisced about the time when they first met. He replied to his girlfriend, saying, “Man to think how far we’ve come. 2015 meeting you for the first and also just starting my career. Youve rocked with me thru it all. The good the bad and the standstills. It’s been a ride no one can put into words.”

The duo is one of the most adorable couples in the sporting world. Tiafoe will hope that his girlfriend proves to be a lucky charm yet again when he faces his compatriot, Taylor Fritz, later today at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
