On Christmas 2021, we look back to one of the most hilarious tennis videos on the internet from 2008. Young WTA and ATP players from all over the world tried their best to sing the 12 Days of Christmas. However, Novak Djokovic, along with his head coach Marian Vajda, decided to remix the song to fit them better.
Novak Djokovic, who was the World No. 3 at the time, sat down with his coach Marian Vajda and sang the song. Moreover, he, like all the other players, dressed the part as well, albeit in his own way.

Novak Djokovic couldn’t get his days straight
Right from the beginning, Novak couldn’t hold his beard up properly. Moreover, the Serb chose not to wear a Santa hat either. Instead, he hilariously threw up Santa’s robes on his head to create a makeshift Santa rug over his head!

Then, from the ten lords a-leaping, the Serb went straight to the seven swans swimming, before he yelled “NO!”, realizing his mistake. Coach Vajda, the strong mentor as always, told Novak to sing right after him. However, in the very next attempt, Novak slipped up and didn’t sing at all, laughing instead.
Moving on, with the nine ladies dancing and the eight maids a-milking, Djokovic sensed an impending mistake. Thus, the moment he went from eight to three (brilliant math), he immediately yelled “Merry Christmas to everybody, yeah!” Then, both he and Vajda broke into laughter.

Djokovic and Vajda then took their seats again after a short break. However, this time, the then-World No. 3 did not drape any clothes over himself. Now, he was simply a white-bearded Serbian.
Djokovic made six geese, ‘geeze’
Worrying that his ears looked funny, Djokovic then began to sing again. However, hilarity continued ensuing again. This time, he sang, “six geese are geezing”. Immediately, Vajda and Djokovic both convulsed in laughter, grabbing each other as they chuckled.

Towards the end, it sure looked like the two found their groove and were singing great. However, as the song reached the three French hens, Djokovic turned them into “french fries”!

Ultimately, the player-coach duo decided to get done with the task at hand. Thus, waving their hands about, they finished through the song at lightning speed, simply saying the words instead of singing them.
As soon as they were done, Novak Djokovic took off his beard, wished everyone a Merry Christmas, and left the camera frame.
No doubt, the Serb must have been in a hurry to get back to training- that would certainly have been an ideal Christmas for him!
