Yesterday, Team World created history at the 2022 Laver Cup. They shocked Team Europe 13-8 to win their maiden Laver Cup title. Not many expected a young Team World team to succeed over a star-studded Team Europe lineup. But they capped a brilliant performance to succeed for the first time in this tournament. Subsequently, Team World’s captain John McEnroe was in a cheerful mood.

After Frances Tiafoe sealed the victory for Team World against Stefanos Tsitsipas, celebrations erupted in Team World’s camp. They proceeded to the court to enjoy their moment of success. Team World captain John McEnroe joined his team members in the celebrations. Subsequently, he showed off his dancing skills as the likes of Taylor Fritz and Diego Schwartzman cheered and danced along with him.

The American tennis legend was all smiles after his team’s Laver Cup victory. He said, “I’d say that amazing would be an understatement right now, it’s been a long time and we’ve been beaten up a few times but we’ve been so close we could taste it.”

Subsequently, the Swiss maestro gave an emotional farewell speech that left the entire tennis fraternity in tears.
