The 21-time Grand Slam champion was challenged by children, with the help of technology in the latest commercial featuring him. The commercial for Vivo, named ‘Máquina de Bolinhas’, was created by Africa, and directed by Pedro Becker. Further, the commercial showcases how technology can help connect people. The meaning of the commercial is explained subtly, with Rafael Nadal featuring alongside three children.

Further, Rafa de Miranda and Rapha Borges, creative directors at the Africa agency, said, “It’s a story about how technology can be magical and make three children manage to challenge the greatest tennis player of all time.”

On the tennis front, the Spanish legend has been out of action due to a stress fracture in his ribs. During his run at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, where he lost to Taylor Fritz in the final, Nadal suffered from breathing issues during the match. However, later he underwent tests, which determined the nature of his injury.
