Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has been a promising young player who has been on the rise. He has considerably improved his game with each season.

Recently, the Greek tennis star displayed his lighter side when he engaged in a game of tennis with the kids back home in Greece. In the video, Tsitsipas can be seen partnering with a young girl while on the other side of the court were youngsters as well.

Quality time spent by Stefanos Tsitsipas

It was a surreal experience for the kids to see one of the most famous sporting personalities in tennis in front of them. Surely, it must have been a dream come true. With Tsitsipas’ splendid performances in recent years, he has become one of the most famous individuals back home in Greece.

Coming to tennis, Tsitsipas began his season in Melbourne and reached the semifinal at the Australian Open. He played one of the most memorable matches of the season when he was down two sets, ended up winning the next three, and subsequently, the match against none other than Rafael Nadal.

He followed it up with a great season on the clay court. The Greek tennis professional won the ATP Masters 1000 title in Monte Carlo and was the finalist at the Barcelona Open against Rafa. Tsitsipas also reached his first Grand Slam final at the French Open but went down to Djokovic

Sadly, things did not go in his favor soon after. He lost in the opening round of the Wimbledon Championships and had an early exit at the US Open as well. 

Now that the season is over, we wish him all the best for the upcoming 2022 season. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the upcoming season.
