Recently, McEnroe appeared in the Club Random podcast with Bill Maher for a candid interview. During this interview, he did one hilarious thing, which according to him he has never done in his life.

In the middle of this podcast interview, the host, Bill Maher, suddenly started smoking a joint. After seeing that, the former American player said, “I’m getting a little concerned about your marijuana intake now. ”
After Maher offered him a joint, McEnroe happily accepted it and said, “Oh, a fresh one, very thoughtful. I’ll try to taste. The first time ever everybody. I have never tried it. “

After McEnroe smoked the joint for the first time, the interviewer jokingly said that these were clove cigarettes. In reply, the former American player gave a hilarious response, as he said, “These cloves are… they are pretty interesting… remind me of my life, when I went to see Led Zeppelin in 74. “
Notably, McEnroe is currently at the Wimbledon Championships now, covering the entire Grand Slam event. Also, he was interviewing many top stars during the recent centenary celebration of the Centre Court.

Although McEnroe was one of the best tennis players, many fans still remember him for his on-court outbursts. In 1981, the infamous outburst of the American player took place at the Wimbledon Championships, while he was playing Tom Gullikson in the first round. After the chair umpire called the ball out, McEnroe went toward the chair umpire and shouted, “You cannot be serious, man… everyone in the whole stadium knows it’s in and you call that out?… You guys are the absolute pits of the world.”
After this rant, the chair umpire had to give a point penalty. Later, the American tennis player talked about feeling terrible about the whole incident. After this incident, the 7-time Grand Slam champion released his autobiography, titled ‘You cannot be serious’.
