Consistency and class have been the two unshakeable pillars of Swiss maestro Roger Federer’s illustrious career. However, for the past two years, injury has sidelined him from the ATP Tour. While he has still shown glimpses of his former self at times, he just hasn’t been able to play enough tournaments. And as a result, the 40-year-old is now no longer in the Top 10 ATP World Rankings. Naturally, Roger Federer fans across the world were devastated by the development.

Federer has been in the Top 10 Rankings for 968 weeks throughout this career. And while it is a record, it is also a stunning example of his longevity in tennis. Nevertheless, it begs a concerning question: Will the Swiss maestro ever return to the Top 10?
