Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic revealed some facts about his recent injuries. This world’s number-one tennis star injured his wrist during the practice sessions on the court recently. During his first United Cup 2024 match, Djokovic also received treatment and helped Serbia reach the quarters. Now after his victory, this Serbian tennis maestro revealed his feelings about bagging a victory with an injured wrist.

Djokovic’s injury has concerned fans thinking whether it will jeopardize his 11th Australian Open challenge. However, like always this tennis maestro is not ready to lose hope very soon. In fact, Djokovic’s recent comment expresses his indomitable attitude toward tennis legacy despite any hurdles.

When this Serbian tennis star was asked about the status of his injury, he gave an outstanding reply that showed his indomitable spirit. Djokovic said- “I hope not, but yeah, it happened in the warmup today before the match. I basically got constant treatment before the match, during the match, after the match, you know, trying to address the issue that I’m facing today in the best possible way.”

Djokovic seemed concerned but he seemed not ready to give up on his Australian Open dream this season. He further added- “I mean, it’s not the first time that I have faced these kind of circumstances at such a high level of professional tennis. I know professional sport in general, these things happen. I think it’s not a major concern, because I still managed to finish the match and managed to play well, “

This Serbian tennis legend amazed the tennis fraternity by showing such confidence at the age o thirty-six. He ended his response by saying- “ even though I maybe wasn’t feeling 100%, but still, you know, it allowed me to finish the match.”

Despite his wrist problem, Djokovic managed to beat Jiri Lehecka by 3-1. In the beginning, many errors made fans cautious about whether Djokovic’s injury was too serious.  However, this world’s number-one took a timeout for medical help and returned with a double break to beat Leheck by 6-1, 6-7 (3), and 6-1 in the second break.
