According to the British player, he has very few hats with him and that’s why he can’t give it to him. However, Andy later changed his mind, as he felt bad about the kid. So, the Brit gave his hat to the kid. Later, he jokingly said to the kid, “If I run out of hats though, might need to bring it back to me.”
Earlier this week, a kid asked @andy_murray for his cap. Andy initially apologetically said no, saying he only had a few with him, but changed his mind 10 seconds later & gave it to him, & said he might need to ask for it back if he runs out later 🥺😭❤️

The 2-time Wimbledon champion had a great first-round win at the Indian Wells against Taro Daniel. This was a revenge match for the British player; the Japanese player got the best of him at the Australian Open second round. After losing the first set by 6-1, Murray’s comeback to win was pretty impressive. Eventually, Murray won the match by 1-6,6-2,6-4.
Incidentally, this victory was also his 700th career win, and only Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal have more wins than Murray in the Open era. In the next round, the Brit will face Alexander Bublik, from Kazakhstan. It’s no doubt that it will be a massive test for the British player.
