Andrey Rublev goes blind as Team Europe celebrates Laver Cup 2021 victory

Considering their ATP World Rankings, Team Europe had a massive advantage over Team World. It proved so as Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berrettini, and Casper Ruud dominated all three days of the event.

Following that, they celebrated with champagne in the locker room. Amidst this, Rublev cried, “I can’t see. I’m blind,” while Zverev laughed.

In the celebration video, Rublev is also the only one drinking champagne from the Laver Cup trophy. While the Russian drank, the Spanish veteran Feliciano Lopez cheered him.

Team Europe had a blast at the Laver Cup 2021 in Boston. The locker room video was probably only the start of their celebratory night. Let’s see if they continue the winning tradition next year.
