Novak Djokovic is all set to return to action at the Monte Carlo Masters after almost a 4-week gap from competitive tennis. He will face the Russian tennis star, Roman Safiullin, in his first match of the clay court season. But before that, the world number one shared an adorable scene with his 6-year-old daughter, Tara during an autograph session in Monte Carlo.

Just a few weeks ago, at the Indian Wells both Tara and Djokovic were caught having fun during a practice session at the University of California in Los Angeles. Tara was seen recording her father on the phone. During the break, Novak Djokovic came extremely close to her camera and posed with a funny expression. He was even spotted giving an adorable hug to Tara during the training session. A similar thing happened in Monte Carlo while Djokovic went to sign some of his personalized kit bags. Djokovic kissed Tara and a little girl who went with him to attend the event.

Reflecting on his feelings about becoming a father, Novak Djokovic once said, “I have the privilege to be a father to wonderful kids. So, I try to take that childish energy. And fuel my inner child because I tend to forget my inner child a lot because everything is so serious.

During the AO this year, Djokovic turned a bit emotional while talking about spending quality time with his children. Spending time with them is his “Favorite part of the day.” But during the long tours like the ones during the first Grand Slam of the season, Djokovic reflected on how difficult it is to stay away from them by saying, “My son is nine, my daughter is six, every day, every week they change.

Although Tara is often seen attending his father’s matches. But that doesn’t mean she’s rooting for him all the time!

Novak Djokovic revealed the “number one choice” for her daughter on the tennis courts

During an interview with BBC Sport, Novak Djokovic once jokingly revealed that Tara is a big fan of Russian tennis player, Andrey Rublev. He said she likes him the most. “She likes him for his headband and for his energy and intensity. That’s the number one choice of my daughter, yes.
