The 2021 season has been a mixed bag for the great Rafael Nadal. The year was filled with loads of ups, but also had its fair share of lows. Unfortunately, the Spanish legend failed to capture a Grand Slam title this year. In addition, his campaign was plagued with injuries too. While he is taking a break from the circuit at the moment, he has been enjoying his time off the court. Recently, Nadal took part in a charity golf tournament, which he even ended up winning.

Despite missing out on Wimbledon, the Olympic Games as well as the US Open, Nadal has been recovering well for the near future. Earlier, he had committed to play at a charity golf tournament in his home country. Owing to the injury, many people expected him to skip the event. On the contrary, Rafa kept his word and took part in the tournament, to the delight of fans. At the event in Mallorca, Nadal had a great time on the course.

What’s more, the 20-time Grand Slam winner even won the charity event’s title. It was yet another trophy for the grinding individual who is so used to winning. The Spaniard reportedly has a very high level in the sport of golf, which he must’ve put into use at Mallorca. As is seen in the video, Rafael Nadal won the exhibition competition and raised the trophy sky high.

If you asked Nadal himself, he would probably admit that 2021 has been nowhere near his best season. He failed to capture the big titles, and an age-old foot injury of his reemerged. As a result, the former World No.1 had a lackluster outing and saw a slip in his rankings. The most disappointing outcome of the season for Nadal would’ve been his result at the French Open 2021.
