WATCH: Roger Federer’s Son Eats and Throws Strawberry Followed by a Fist Pump at ATP Halle 2021

Swiss Maestro Roger Federer, who had a comfortable first-round victory at Halle Open 2021, will face a tough challenge in the form of Felix Auger-Aliassime in the next round.

It was a shaky start to the tournament by Federer as he gradually improved his level in the second set against opponent Ilya Ivashka. With no fans allowed in the stadium, the first-round match was witnessed by a few dignitaries.

Coming to Federer’s box, coach Ivan Ljubicic was seen supporting the Swiss star throughout the match. Roger’s wife, Mirka, was also present for his initial matchup.

As there was day’s gap before his second-round match against Felix, Federer took a small tour inside the stadium along with two boys Leo and Lenny. The Swiss star already announced that his family won’t be traveling alongside him for Wimbledon Championships this year due to quarantine restrictions.

During the event tour at Halle, the twin sons of Federer-  Leo and Lenny appeared to have their own as they played by eating strawberries and throwing them out.

It was Leo who threw away the berry first and fist pumped after looking at the distance it went. His actions were immediately followed by Lenny.

Roger Federer was standing beside the two boys, probably talking to someone, while the kids had small fun of their own. The 20-time grand slam champion was always willing to share about the time he spends with his four children.

Coming back to tennis, the Swiss star wishes to excel on Wimbledon this year. Keeping an eye on his favorite grand slam, Federer also withdrew from the French Open after winning the third-round match against Dominik Koepfer.

However, Federer’s path to glory at Halle got eased up with Stefanos Tsitsipas announcing his decision to withdraw from the event. Also, Daniil Medvedev lost his first-round match against Jan-Lennard Struff. With these two exits, Federer’s journey to a 11th Halle Open title got a bit easier.
