Following that, she stepped into the hard courts of the US Open and failed to get past her second opponent in qualification at Court 17.

Although Tiafoe is riding high on form, the 19-year-old should not be taken lightly. As he made up to the last four by out-muscling the Italian professional Jannik Sinner. The player who obstructed his otherwise flawless run in Wimbledon and Croatia. Further, he performed really well in this season’s hard court-based summer doubles. Alcaraz executed a semifinal run in Indian Wells and clinched the title in Miami.
