After his epic victory at the tournament, Zverev sat for an interview with Prakash Amritraj on Tennis Channel. Zverev delved deeper into his victory and the issues about the tournament’s venue. Zverev commented- “There’s extreme difference on how center court plays to all the other courts, simply because we’re playing inside of a massive stadium. You know, it’s kind of a bit more covered. The surface is a bit different towards outside, where we’re kind of playing on a parking lot. Not really. But you know, that’s the vibe that we have, so yeah, I mean I hope I can make a deep run. I feel like I’m playing well, I feel my shots quite well. Of course, today was a difficult day, but all in all I’m hoping to have a  good tournament.”

After his victory, this German ATP pro said– “It was a difficult match, I thought he was in control of it throughout the first set. He came out swinging and didn’t give me chances to be aggressive.
