American tennis star Reilly Opelka is pretty popular for his outrageous comments and statements. The 25-year-old loves giving it back to the trolls and fights his battles on Twitter as well. However, his recent reaction to the ban on Fernando Verdasco led to a movement against the tennis star.

The former top ten tennis player is suffering from ADHD and took the banned substance for the treatment of the same. Opelka has been disrespectful regarding the whole fiasco and called out Verdasco for the doping incident.

The former world number 7 has admitted to the consumption of a banned substance and also agreed to the two-month suspension. A few fans are having sympathy for the 39-year-old as he is suffering from ADHD and took the banned substance for treatment.

However, Opelka hasn’t lowered the guard and continued to bash Verdasco. Later, when fans called him out for being too insensitive, the American fueled it even more with his tweet. Taking to his Twitter account, the 25-year-old wrote, “I’m toxic and privileged”.

This further infuriated the fans. Later, his tweet went viral on a Reddit thread. Here’s how fans reacted to Opelka’s tweet.

Stepping into controversy is nothing new for Opelka. Earlier this year, the 25-year-old also reacted to the way celebrities were urging people to vote. Speaking about the same, he laughed at the fact that voters need to be reminded about their right to vote.

However, fans didn’t like his comment as he also trolled the celebrities who were urging people to use their democratic rights. Apart from that, the American also received a lot of flack when he mocked a fan after Twitter removed his account for trolling Opelka.
