He also highlighted the GOAT conversation and dragged in the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer.

In his words: “The Western press belittles every success of Novak and they don’t want to accept that he is the GOAT, and that is already a finished story.” He went on to illustrate his point with a striking example.

Pilic mentioned a German magazine featuring Roger Federer in a tuxedo on its front page. As per him: “What will Federer do on the front page the day after the tournament in Turin?” Pilic questioned the need to celebrate a retired player while Djokovic basked in a major victory.
