Recently, Wojcikova from the University of North Georgia’s women’s tennis team scored big by getting named the Peach Belt Conference women’s tennis Player of the Week. This was her first time winning this award, and the stats clearly depicted that she earned it!

In the matches last week, she played like a real champion. During her overall performance period, she won all of the eight matches she participated in, both in singles and doubles. Her performance went far beyond individual achievements as it helped the team, especially against tough opponents like West Alabama and Flagler. She beat Dana Heiman, who’s ranked 40th in ITA women’s singles. The score was 2-6, 7-6 (she won the tiebreaker 7-2), 6-4. As she continues to pave her way in the world of tennis, it still remains to be seen if she will be entering the international circuit completely.
