Born in Roquebrune, Valentin Vacherot is a professional tennis player. He has been coached by his half-brother and a retired tennis player Benjamin Valleret since 2022. Vacherot’s cousin Arthur Rinderknech also plays tennis professionally, which sums up Vacherot’s brilliance in the sport. This Monaco-based tennis star played professional tennis from his college days at Texas A&M University. Vacherot has already shown the signs of a tennis prodigy as he bagged many victories at the age of twenty-five. While Vacherot is a right-handed player, he has skills of two-handed backhand.

Vacherot‘s first victory was the Nonthaburi Challenger singles tournament in 2022. In this tournament in Thailand, Vacherot defeated Ly Hoang Nam in the finals. After that, this French ATP star was given a wildcard entry to the Monte Carlo Masters last year. However, he exited the tournament in the first round after losing to Luca Nardi.

This year, Valentin Vacherot received another wildcard for entering into the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters. While his opponent Grigor Dimitrov is an ATP pro, fans still hope Vacherot to showcase some of his tennis skills at the tournament.

Coming from a tennis-loving family, Vacherot’s destiny was written way before he even picked up a racquet. Not only his half-brother and cousin but his sister also works at a tennis club. I was born into tennis and when I was a kid, I was going with my mom to play a lot. I don’t want to go school, I want to go play tournaments.”

As this French ATP star proceeds forward to face off against Grigor Dimitrov, his fans are keeping a lot of expectations. Whether Vacherot wins or not is a different matter, but he surely sets a high expectation with his background and love for the sport.
