Earlier this season, Nick Kyrgios pulled out of the French Open to focus on the grass-court season. That move seems to make sense as the Australian tennis star has equaled his best performance at the Wimbledon Championships. Yesterday, he overcame the challenge of Brandon Nakashima to advance into the quarterfinals at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Earlier in the tournament, Kyrgios knocked out the fourth seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas in one of the most thrilling matches at this year’s Wimbledon. The match had it all, with Kyrgios losing his cool on multiple occasions and arguing with the officials. Additionally, Tsitsipas also vented his frustration and smashed the ball into the crowd during the match. Recently, Pat Cash, the former Australian tennis player, called out his compatriot for his antics.
