This was the third time the American has come back from a two-set deficit and won. In the opening round of the 2018 US Open, Fritz appropriately accomplished this feat against Mischa Zverev, the elder brother of Alexander Zverev. Mischa was in the players’ box at Center Court for this match, sending ‘Sascha’ into the stratosphere for added drama, making the fourth-round victory even more special.

In the video, she was wearing a short white dress, paired with a jacket. In addition, she kept her hair half-tied up, making her look classy while sharing a proud moment over her boyfriend’s success on the court. On the other hand, after losing the first two sets, Fritz battled back to win a set, and Riddle rallied more supporters to encourage her partner.

She posted a story on her own Instagram account, showing that she was present during Fritz and Zverev’s tough battle. She wrote, “Cheer loud ladies.” In her post, she made a three-word statement that struck a deep chord and strengthened Fritz’s determination to win the Wimbledon Championship.

Taylor Fritz on his ‘amazing’ fourth-round victory

Fritz said of his incredible effort, “It was amazing to do that on Center Court, Wimbledon two sets down is just amazing.” He was confident going into the competition because he had just won his third grass-court title at Eastbourne, which further demonstrated his skill on the court.

Watching that victory, Brad Gilbert said, “This is by far the biggest win of his career, and it sets up an opportunity [where it’s] the first time he’s playing in the quarterfinals where he’s a big favorite.” Notably, Zverev is still focused on making it to Wimbledon’s quarterfinals for the first time.
