The Aussie tennis star further puts them in the category of the tennis GOATs. But when it comes to other legends, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, and Andre Agassi, he has a totally different viewpoint on them.

Talking about those best-known veterans, the controversial tennis star said that they would be “snipped” playing against the players of this era. A lot of fans took note of those sharp comments toward some of the greatest players in the tennis realm. Consequently, they fired back at the 27-year-old with their criticism on social media.

The Aussie tennis star has once again found himself in hot water on Reddit. Nick Kyrgios recently compared the Swiss tennis Maestro to the NBA legend, Michael Jordan, while he talked about who the tennis GOAT is. The controversial tennis star then brought his friend, Novak Djokovic into the conversation, who statistically fares better in the same context with 22 grand slam titles.

Later, the show host, Logan Paul also gauged his opinion on other tennis legends, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, and Andre Agassi. He answered by taking a jab at those veterans as he said, “no way,” they could win against the current generation of tennis players.

Taking note of his harsh remarks about the tennis greats, one of the fans shared a post of the same on Reddit. Others flocked to the comments section to fire back at the bad boy of tennis in response to his criticism of the former tennis players.

One of the fans said, “Lol, Agassi was one of Federer’s biggest challenges with a back full of cortisone. It gets brought up a lot, but his game carried super well from the 90s era to the 2000s.”

Another user commented, “You kidding? Agassi would wipe the floor with most of the top 20”

Others also hailed the American tennis legend, Andre Agassi and his remarkable antics on the ATP Tour. The fan said, “Agassi would’ve suited today’s game more than that of the 90s, he was playing in an era where the courts hadn’t yet slowed down to compensate for the increased power given by modern racquets”
