To which, Medvedev’s reply came quite sooner regarding how he will try his best to watch the American clash between Shelton and Tiafoe or even Novak Djokovic‘s quarter-final match.

He said, “I don’t know if it’s legal or illegal, but I have to find a way because I cannot watch it on TV. I got Internet, probably this, how you call it, pirate websites, I watch tennis there. I have no other choice. But at the same time sometimes I do want to watch some series. Do I put it on the phone or not?”

While at first the US Open was quite available on television to watch, Disney Channel, including ABC and ESPN, has gone dark on the Charter spectrum due to some clashes, and it won’t be easy for him to watch these matches on the big screen.

Nevertheless, not only the Russian player but a lot of other spectators in the US are stuck with the same problem. He also made a promising statement that, regardless of the situation, he would try his best to watch the match and also wish good luck to all four tennis players.

In the same press conference, Medvedev also highlighted how he managed to watch the Serb’s third-round clash against Laslo Djere. The third-ranked tennis player revealed that he was up until 2:30 and then was also able to just watch a bit of the match, prioritizing his sleep while he himself was busy with the tournament.

Along with that, he also highlighted how he is going to watch everything if it does not get too late, just like what happened with the 36-year-old tennis player’s third-round clash.
