Venus responds to questions on Insta Live
As part of a live session on Instagram, Venus spent some time responding to questions from her fans. One such question from a fan read, “If a seat became available on a space tourist trip tomorrow would you go?”

Venus hilariously responded saying, ” Not only I would not go on this trip. If the world was ending, I would just stay home go on with it. Just because my name is Venus, doesn’t mean I want to be in outer space.”

The elder Williams sister is a former World No.1 in singles and doubles while winning 7 Grand Slam singles titles in her career. Her wins also included an incredible 35-match win streak in 2004, winning 7 titles in a row.

Venus Williams has a message for young fans
The 41-year-old is a role model in Compton, California, helping youngsters reach the highest level of the sport. She also had a sweet message for youngsters growing in tennis. She says, “Stay in the moment and even when you’re in these situations you don’t have to always do something fancy and focus on the big targets, hit those crosscourts, look for shortballs, stay aggressive.”

“Just think about how much fun you’re having,” she added. Williams’ sisters were trained by father Richard Williams and iconic coach Rick Macci. They went on to meet each other in the Grand Slam finals, while also representing USA at the Olympics in singles and doubles.

Williams will go down as one of the most successful players on the WTA Tour. With a hard-hitting base and big serve, she posed a threat to every player on the grid.
