2022 was a heartbreaking year for tennis fans. It saw the retirement of two of tennis’ biggest stars, Serena Williams and Roger Federer. The latter especially was hoping to make a comeback at Wimbledon but couldn’t do so. He played at the Laver Cup and subsequently called time on his illustrious career.
