Boris Becker’s savage comeback gives Nick Kyrgios an edge

Just a few days ago, Kyrgios talked about how Novak Djokovic has an edge against the previous generation of tennis titans, including Pete Sampras and Boris Becker, in terms of his gameplay. The 2022 Wimbledon finalist’s take on comparing generations didn’t sit well with the six-time Grand Slam champion, and he took a sly jibe at the Aussie.

He stated that, as someone who has not won a Grand Slam title, he should not compare generations and focus on other concerns and his recent collaboration rather than tennis. But Kyrgios, in no time, replied to the statement and answered Becker. He wrote, “And I appreciate the @OnlFans shoutout!!!! Got the Boris Becker speaking about the brand!!!! Always knew you kept up with my business collaborations.”

Without any hesitation, while he gave a shout-out to another Twitter page, he also shut down Becker’s take in his way. Moreover, the 28-year-old tennis star just a few weeks ago became a part of the OnlyFans group, in which he will be seen talking about his o and off-court journey.

Nevertheless, nearly 3 years ago, both of them were in the same position where they rattled against each other over a Djokovic concern. Let’s take a look at how the war of words ended at that time.

Becker and Kyrgios never-ending war of words

In 2020, when, amid the COVID-19 restriction, tennis matches were taking place, the Serbian tennis player grabbed a lot of attention for his takeover for not following the pandemic guidelines. In the same way, his action also grabbed the attention of the 28-year-old tennis star, which created a feud of words between Becker and the Aussie himself.

The 2022 Wimbledon finalist called out Djokovic for putting everyone’s lives at rest. While it was just an opinion, Becker didn’t like his attack and called out that everybody was trying to protect their own families and loved ones. Further, the feud continued when Kyrgios called him the not-so-sharpest tool in the shed; on the other hand, Becker brought out the no-Grand Slam title to stand strong against the Australian star.
