World number 3 Novak Djokovic is all set to begin his campaign in the Wimbledon Championship. The 35-year-old is the top seed going in the tournament and will look to defend his title. Unlike last year, Djokovic is still searching for his first Slam title this season. The Serb could not compete in the Australian Open and lost against Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinal of the French Open.

Having won the last three Wimbledon titles, he is the favorite for lifting the Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy. However, his seven-year-old son has some doubts about it.

Djokovic’s son mocks him

In a video that the 20-time Grand Slam champion posted on his Instagram account, he failed to tie a trampoline. Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisevic and fitness trainer Marco Panichi teamed up with the 35-year-old to tie up a trampoline but failed to do so. Watching them fail, young Stefan jokingly taunted his father.

Novak Djokovic enters Wimbledon as the number 1 contender

Novak Djokovic is the defending champion at the Wimbledon Championship 2022. Not to forget, the 35-year-old has won the last three Wimbledon titles. In the recently announced seeding for the tournament, the Serb enters as the top seed, as world number 1 Daniil Medvedev sits out because of the ban on Russian and Belarusian players.

It will be a stern test for the former world number 1 as he has been struggling with fitness and form for the past few months. This might be his last chance to win a Grand Slam this year, as the US Open made vaccination compulsory. While the Serb had a brilliant 2021 season where he clinched three out of four Slams, this year has belonged to Rafael Nadal. The Spaniard is in brilliant form, having clinched both the Australian Open and French Open titles this year.
