Nick Kyrgios is certainly one of the coolest players in the history of the sport. He is a notorious bad boy of tennis, along with the class and grace of a top player. And from the looks of it, Coco Gauff feels that way too.

In an interview at the Citi Open, Gauff revealed that Kyrgios is one player on the ATP tour she would be friends with. As she steps on the court in Montreal tomorrow, she will compete in her first tournament since Wimbledon Championships.

“So, yeah definitely him.”

Kyrgios was kind enough to reply to her on his social media handles. “Anytime!!! You are going to do great things in this sport and I can’t wait to watch. I got plenty more ping pong lessons as well,” he tweet.

In an unusual case, Kyrgios can meet Rafael Nadal in the third round of the tournament. But he will have to first get past Reilly Opelka to get to the Spaniard.
