He said, “My wife, Mirka, was always very elegant and always very into cars, watches, and fashion. She was always very outgoing, visiting places, and I think she inspired me. And so, I think that’s what got me into the whole fashion world. When you go to all these different cities, you cannot wear jeans running sneakers, and, an oversized T-shirt every single day. And then as I was growing into a more successful tennis player, you were doing this red carpet. So, you need a suit and you cannot wear the same tie every time.”

He shared how his dressing up was primarily because he started going to these high-society places where dressing casually was not an option. Federer also shared that traveling g is what most made him want to dress better and of course, the fame part also played a role in it.
