The 2022 Wimbledon runner-up is currently on the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) tour in Los Angeles. Amidst his injury woes, Nick Kyrgios has now made his coaching debut as he has teamed up with the American tennis star, Frances Tiafoe. While speaking about his campaign in the radical league, the controversial player made a bold assertion about his longevity in competitive tennis.
It was recently brought to light by the official Instagram page of the UTS, which uploaded a video clip of Kyrgios’ back-and-forth conversation. The Aussie said, “The schedule is out of control, bro!! I’m getting old. 28. But with all the drinking and partying, I’m 57,” emphasizing his current priorities.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old player also asserted that he does not see himself on the ATP Tour for another five years as he suggested age is catching up to him. Kyrgios added, “33 is insane. I’m not playing till I’m 33. Once I’m gone, you’ll never see me again.”
Later, the ‘bad boy of tennis’ didn’t hold himself back from talking about his post-retirement plans.

Kyrgios plans to become a coach after his competitive tennis journey
During the back-and-forth conversation, the Aussie tennis player reiterated his plans of taking up the coaching duties after his journey in the men’s circuit. He jokingly talked about his desire to coach Tiafoe, with whom he has already teamed up for the unique and fast-paced league in Los Angeles. Kyrgios said, “I think I might just coach. Coach Foe (Tiafoe) full-time. That would be sick!!”.
