But the fascinating aspects pertaining to the couple have left the tennis fans divided.

In a post by the official X account of the US Open, Swift and Kelce can be seen discussing something intriguing as they watch the match. “As the prophecy foretold, Taylor Swift is here to watch Taylor Fritz,” the post read. As soon as it gained traction, several fans highlighted that the the couple was not supporting the same player for the title win. 

While neither Swift nor Kelce expressed their support for either of the two players directly, the question sparked a major debate across social media platforms.

Taking to X, a user wrote, “MY MONEYS ON FRITZ, CAUSE QUEEN IS SUPPORTING HIM 🔥🔥🔥🥰.” Remember, it is after a very long time that an American tennis player is playing in the US Open finals. Andre Agassi Pete Sampras and Andy Roddick are the only American men who have won a grand slam in the 21st century. With Fritz so close to glory, the support for him is evident from the American crowd and his compatriot Taylor Swift is no exception.

Responding to the post, another user wrote, “She is rooting for Fritz.” While Fritz is far below Sinner in the ATP rankings, the support from the crowd is expected to give him a morale boost. Experts like Tim Henman are also rooting for the player predicting that he can be a brutal force against Sinner. Amidst all the backing, another user joined the fray and suggested that Taylor Swift’s support would do the trick for Fritz, as he wrote, “The opponent will be overwhelmed by the Taylors.”

Interestingly, Taylor Fritz and his girlfriend Morgan Riddle are huge fans of the American singer. When rain showers hit Fritz’s match with Tommy Paul at the Delray Beach Open this year, he was spotted resting with his girlfriend, as the pair listened to the songs of Taylor Swift. But at the same time, another section of the fans highlighted that despite Swift’s evident support for Fritz, her beau is rooting for the Italian dynamo. 

Responding to the post, a user wrote “But Travis is dressed for Jannik.” Kelce could be seen wearing a Gucci hat in the stands. With Sinner being the ambassador of the brand, many in the tennis community assumed that the NFL star was extending his support to the Italian dynamo. Remember, Sinner’s partnership with Gucci dates back to 2022 and it has remained intact since then.

“Is Kelce wearing Italian Flag colors? 🤔,” another user wrote. Kelce was spotted in a white attire with red and green stripes on them. His hat also had similar colors over it. With the Italian Flag also having these three colors, this fan assumed that Kelce might be supporting World No. 1. Another netizen agreed, as he wrote, “Her partner’s repping the Italian.”
