Recently, they won yet another match in the La Liga, but this time, they had someone special sitting in their stands. The coach of Holger Rune, Boris Becker, visited their recent bout and praised them for victory afterward.

Becker is not the only tennis personality who is a fan of Real Madrid. The King of Clay, Rafael Nadal, is also a big fan of the Spanish team. One could see him supporting them in 2022, right before his French Open final.

Boris Becker shows his love for Real Madrid

Holger Rune’s coach decided to turn on soccer last night to watch the La Liga match between Deportivo Alaves and Real Madrid. Becker found himself thoroughly enjoying the bout. Both teams fought to their heart’s content, but beating Madrid is a task many have failed. Los Blancos won the match when Lucas Vazquez scored a goal in the last minute.

Becker, thoroughly impressed by the action he witnessed, decided to praise the team and some of its players on his ‘X’ page. “Enjoying @realmadridalways! Big fan of @ToniKroosand lots of respect for @ToniRuedigerand of course @BellinghamJude! #HalaMadrid”.

The team took the victory from an away game and added three points to their tally. They now sit at the top of the table but don’t have a comfortable cushion as the second in line has the same points as them.

In the stands, to support them, sat Rafael Nadal, who had to play the final for the Roland Garros the next day. Madrid won their 14th final, and Nadal thanked Madrid for inviting him to the match.

The next day would be filled with the dominance of Rafa as he would win his 14th French Open title. Madrid succeeded in roping him into becoming a fan just like they did Becker. As time moves on, we might see more tennis players lauding the Spanish football club.
