Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has competed with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla – who also recently bought Twitter – for years when it comes to earning billions and making path-breaking innovations. But the Twitter owner recently decided to take this battle to the UFC. And Zuckerberg responded in a typical Khabib Nurmagomedov style. Later, American tennis star Andy Roddick too jumped into the ring, metaphorically speaking.

Fans are keeping their fingers crossed as the Twitter boss will face the Facebook head in a fight. Elon Musk has a diverse range of interests. He is the pioneer of electric Tesla cars and PayPal. He is the founder of SpaceX and aims to settle people on Mars. Also, his Neuralink wants to connect a chip to people’s brains that shall make them sharper as the threat of ‘intelligent machines’ looms. Elon Musk has, of course, diverse engineering interests compared to Zuckerberg, but who among the tech billionaires will have an edge in the UFC match? Former tennis star Andy Roddick shared his views on the same on Twitter.

How did it all start? Last Tuesday, Elon Musk took a dig at Zuckerberg on reports that Zuckerberg plans to launch a Twitter rival, Threads. Musk wrote, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane. Was worried there for a moment.” Responding to that, a user commented, “Better be careful @elonmusk I heard he does the jiu-jitsu now”.

The user referred to the recent Zuckerberg triumphs in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu contest in a Silicon Valley school where he won a gold and a silver medal, recently. Responding to that, Elon Musk wrote, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”

But then came the moment when Mark Zuckerberg appeared in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s avatar. He wrote in his Instagram story, “Send me the location.” And as things heated up, Musk posted later, “Vegas Octagon.

As the buzz of the billionaires’ fight was all over the place, Andy Roddick shared his eagerness about the same. He shared the tweet of a lawyer, Ron Filipkowski, who had given the context of the possible fight. Later he had written on Twitter, “We will see if Elon is one of those typical shit-talkers who then runs away when someone calls his bluff.”.

Andy Roddick shared the tweet captioning it with these words, “Let this be real.”

But Andy Roddick is not the only person who is excited about the big fight. UFC President Dana White too shared his views about the grand event.

UFC President on confirming the biggest fight in history

As the news spread like wildfire, UFC President Dana White revealed that Zuckerberg had approached him to confirm if Musk was serious. And Musk later responded, “I am dead serious.”

The UFC president later revealed how the match, which is not official as yet, would be the biggest fight in history. Further, he commented that everyone would turn up to watch it. In an interview with TMZ Sports, he said, “This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world — bigger than anything that’s ever been done, it would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity.”

People around the globe have kept their fingers crossed seeing the great innovators bleeding each other in a fight. And Andy Roddick too can’t hold back the adrenaline rush.
