Swiatek says experience of playing as Davenport made her a ‘topspin player’
The Pole said, perhaps, it was her experience of playing as the American on Playstation which helped her become a ‘topspin player’.
“I always played as Rafa (Nadal) – and on another version as Lindsay Davenport because she is really tall – so maybe that’s why I am a topspin player now and maybe I got used to that by playing video games,” Swiatek said.

She added that while not majorly influenced, Davenport did influence her game that way.
“Maybe not a big one but I think it had some influence,” Swiatek conceded.
