‘Def Ain’t Responding Back to None of Us’- Coco Gauff, Reilly Opelka and Others to Troll ‘A-Lister’ Frances Tiafoe Over His Latest NBA Achievement

Frances Tiafoe‘s fans don’t need an introduction to the player’s love of basketball. Tiafoe has four ATP titles and is one of the rising stars of American tennis. Aside from tennis, Tiafoe is a big fan of basketball and has mentioned in interviews that he played basketball before taking up tennis. Recently, he got an opportunity to explore his dream of being a basketball player.

Tiafoe has even said that if he wasn’t a tennis player, he would have loved to be a basketball player. Recently, Tiafoe was invited to play in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, an annual exhibition basketball game by the National Basketball Association. The game features a mix of former NBA and WNBA players, athletes from other sports, and celebrities from the entertainment world. He took to posting the proud moment on his Instagram where his co-tennis stars teased him in the comments.

Tiafoe became the third tennis player to ever play in the game. He is following in the footsteps of Milos Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard. The 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Tiafoe’s introduction to the crowd was done by actor Ben Affleck.

Posting a photo dump from his time at the game, Tiafoe showed his gratefulness to NBA and the commissioner Adam Silver.

He captioned his photos, “All star celebrity game was an experience I’ll never forget. Them frequencies was allll the way right. Thanks again to the @nba and @adamsilvernba for having me@truly honored.”

Within a few hours of posting the pictures, Tiafoe’s account caught the attention of fellow American Coco Gauff who took a fun dig at the A-list tennis icon.

She wrote, “Foe def ain’t responding back to none of us now #Alist 😂.”

Following her cue, Reilly Opelka also chimed in on the thread with his reply. He said, “A list.. but still a broken jump shot.

Fans have loved this small playful exchange between some of America’s greatest tennis players as if they are children. In less than 24 hours of posting, the pictures are viral with over 15,000 likes.

Coco also added a second comment to Big Foe’s pictures, “🔥🔥🔥”. This shows how much she really appreciates his performance.

Recently, Nick Kyrgios also expressed his opinions about Tiafoe’s participation in the big game, but as it seems, only a lot of wide smiles have come out from it.
