Novak Djokovic‘s latest Instagram post regarding ATP’s Best Coach of the Year has garnered support from Romanian tennis star, Andreea Prisacariu. Recently, the ATP awarded the Best Coach of the Year recognition to Italian prodigy Jannik Sinner’s coaches, Darren Cahill and Simone Vagnozzi. While these two talented coaches helped Sinner end the 2023 season with a promising victory, Djokovic’s unbeatable performance at thirty-six was unthinkable for many. However, that didn’t help Djokovic’s coach, Goran Ivanisevic at all.

What did Djokovic comment on ATP’s decision about the Coach of the Year?
While Novak Djokovic seemed professional while congratulating Darren Cahill and Simone Vagnozzi, he couldn’t hold his ultimate frustration. Djokovic commented-“Goran, I guess we need to win 4/4 Slams in order for you to maybe (just maybe) be considered coach of the year.” Djokovic further added- “Winning Year End No #1, 3 GS and WTF and making history of this sport is not enough, my dear coach…”
This year Novak Djokovic’s coach might not bag the Best Coach award from the ATP. However, that is not curving out this coach’s potential anytime soon. The way he helped Djokovic to maintain his form in professional tennis at thirty-six, Goran deserves a true standing ovation.
