The countdown has already started for the third edition of the Pickleball Slam. Four tennis legends are all set to compete for a staggering $1 million prize money. Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf will take on the dynamic duo of Andy Roddick and Eugenie Bouchard in this year’s mega pickleball event. The action is all set to commence on Sunday, February 16 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. In fact, this will be the first time that the tournament will be held in Las Vegas. The mind games have already started between the players and so has the hilarious mocking. Eugenie Bouchard was recently spotted having a fun time with her teammate, Andy Roddick.
Andre Agassi and Eugenie Bouchard recently made hilarious claims of confusing Andy Roddick with Andy Murray ahead of their pickleball clash. In a recently released video clip on the Pickleball Slam account on IG, Agassi was heard claiming, “When I heard I was facing Andy in the Pickleball Slam 3, I gotta admit, I was a little worried. I thought it was Andy Murray.” Then in another promotional video, even Eugenie Bouchard was heard reflecting a similar line to Andy Roddick! Bouchard even shared that post on her IG story with the caption “@andymurray where you at 😭.”
It all started with Roddick claiming, “It’s obvious that having me as a partner was a big reason why Genie wanted to play the slam this year.” Then after hearing this, the Canadian star replied, “So when I first got the call, I thought it was Andy Murray they were talking about.” Andy Roddick further added, “I wouldn’t say I was ‘the’ reason but it’s probably the reason.” After that, Bouchard said, “I’m not picky, I would even play with Bill Murray.” Hilariously, the American came back with a reply saying, “I mean it’s Andy Roddick right.” What did Bouchard say after that? The 30-year-old Canadian replied, “I mean it’s the Pickleball Slam we’re talking about.” Then Roddick said, “You’re welcome“, and Eugenie Bouchard concluded the hilarious mocking put asking, “Think we actually could get Andy Murray?”

Well, Bouchard was spotted showcasing her competitive side on a recent post featuring Agassi. In that post, Agassi heaped praise on the Canadian saying, “For me, the calculus is knowing that she’s going to be the only one out there in that competitive environment, who has learned how to manage her blood pressure and nerves and energy right… I think the plan is to always go after the weakness so I think we’re going to play her as little as possible.
