Frances Tiafoe‘s girlfriend Ayan Broomfield is back to tennis. This Canadian WTA star was recently seen hitting some shots while letting fans know about her warm-up session. Broomfield’s boyfriend, who is in the Cincinnati Open to play the Round of 16 against Jiri Lehecka, noticed his girlfriend’s tennis stunt and dropped an adorable comment that captured their relationship’s essence.

Broomfield shared a clip on her official Instagram profile where she was seen practicing tennis with her father. Broomfield dressed in a beige tank top and white pleated skirt “mic’d up“ to offer her followers a sneak into her tennis life. “We start off with this drill where I start warming up from the service line, and he is serving the ball down into the service box, and I have to kind of just like stay low as you can tell my heart rates up so, that’s how I warm up,“ Broomfield said while hitting one or two balls with her strokes.

Broomfield’s father, on the other side of the net, comes closer to his daughter’s side and throws balls so that Broomfield can practice her forehand. “We always go into this drill, so that I was practicing using my forehand to be aggressive. One forehand line and then two inside-ins do fast forehands. Taking the ball on the rise, stay through the ball okay,“ narrated the Canadian WTA star while practicing.

Her tennis practice made some speculations about whether she was prepping for any tournament. However, Tiafoe’s comment changed the theme. “Pops still directing traffic ain’t shit changed.“ Tiafoe’s comment also presents his bond with his girlfriend’s father.

Tiafoe, a.k.a Big Foe, is known as one of the funniest guys on the ATP Tour. Tommy Paul once picked Tiafoe as the “funniest guy in the locker room” in an interview with ATP Tour. Big Foe maintains a similar attitude to most and his girlfriend is no exception.
