Frances Tiafoe’s song selection for his latest beach story on Instagram raised many eyebrows. The 24-year-old played ‘Middle of the Ocean’ in the background of his story where we can see a beach. Notably, the track from Canadian rapper Drake is creating controversy as it has an insulting diss for Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian.

Drake and Serena were close before Serena met Ohanian and the two married later. In the track, Drake calls Ohanian a “groupie”. Although the celebrity couple didn’t pay much heed to the track, the fans will surely note it down when Tiafoe played it.

Emotional Tiafoe credited the Williams sisters as his idols

Frances Tiafoe had the match of his dreams in the US Open. The American faced Spanish tennis legend, Rafael Nadal, in the round of 16 encounter. In the previous two meetings, Tiafoe had lost against the 22-time Grand Slam champion. However, the 24-year-old had the belief this time that he is an improved player now and can win against Nadal.

Winning his first match against the legend, Tiafoe was visibly emotional. The American has a struggle story similar to the Williams sisters and also considers them as his role model.
