The 25-year-old, Frances Tiafoe‘s wish to bring about a cultural change to tennis is the talk of the tennis world right now. And, Serena Williams’ former coach Patrick Mouratoglou totally agrees with bringing about a revolutionary cultural change. However, this agreement might have angered some tennis enthusiasts as they tried to look at the bigger picture.
The French tennis coach has always talked about bringing change and revolutionizing the current tennis culture. And with Tiafoe’s idea of letting the audience move and talk freely during matches, he believes this is the right concept to attract youngsters to the sport.

Recently, the 55-year-old tennis coach took to his Twitter account to share his opinion on the American tennis player’s revolutionary idea of bringing a basketball culture into the sport. He shared a post that had Tiafoe’s idea of change written on it. And along with that, he wrote, “100% agreed @FTiafoe That is why @UTShowdown has the ambition to bring this dimension to our game.”

A fan strongly disagreed with the idea and wrote, “Americans need to be banned just for bringing up this ludicrous idea.”

Hmm
Wont they start hurling curse words or distract the players?

This is an American view of sport consumption: need noise, music as spectators are unable to seat and focus more than 2 minutes. Tennis is a sport requiring concentration, not sure players & real fans will enjoy this permanent noise. Today people who want to speak, do it already

Sorry don’t agree. Like I said earlier, I want to watch the game. If you want to socialize, stay in the beer tent.

So why don't they go to a basketball game?

Tennis isn't rugby or basketball. Maybe he thinks the same behaviour would be appropriate for theater performances 🙃

However, the biggest question is, what was the reason that made the American tennis player propose such a huge, revolutionary change in the tennis world?
