‘An Absolute Joy’- Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s Insane Miami Episode Leaves Boris Becker, Aryna Sabalenka, and Other Tennis Greats Astounded

It is quite clear to say now that the next generation of the men’s circuit has arrived considering the thrilling semifinal clash between the youngsters, Carlos Alcaraz Garfia and  Jannik Sinner. It was a lengthy yet exciting display of some remarkable tennis between the ATP players in Miami Gardens. In a three-set clash, the Italian tennis player prevailed after delivering some stellar performances.

However, it was one of their jaw-dropping rallies that have recently stunned the entire tennis community. Even some of the big names on the WTA Tour like Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, Bianca Andreescu, and others have been astounded upon witnessing the high-quality drama at the ongoing Miami Open.

The entire crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium was stunned when the ATP youngsters were involved in a thrilling semifinal clash. Jannik Sinner delivered one of his best performances to upset the Spaniard, Carlos Alcaraz, with a score of 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-2. Amidst all the high-quality drama, it was their 25-shot rally that is getting lauded by the entire tennis community.

During the opening set, Alcaraz and Sinner produced a jaw-dropping 25-shot rally which ended up in the favor of the Italian tennis player. In the process, they had to cover the entire tennis court to clinch that crucial point. A video clip of their riveting rally has also gone viral on Twitter as it has drawn various reactions from the tennis realm.

Even the Canadian tennis beauty, Bianca Andreescu was quite astounded upon witnessing some surreal display of the game. Notably, Andreescu didn’t shy away from lavishing praise on the 21-year-old ATP player. While sharing a video clip of their rally, she said,  “What in the alien”

The legendary Australian tennis coach, Rennae Stubbs also hailed the youngsters on the men’s circuit by posting a series of tweets. She said, “It’s an absolute JOY to watch @janniksin and @carlosalcaraz play tennis. Thank you, to both of you, for making me believe the future of men’s tennis is SOOOO FINE!”

 

The Australian Open champion, Aryna Sabalenka also hailed the male counterparts in her Instagram story by saying, “Guys are you from this planet????”

Apart from the WTA players, the American ATP player, John Isner also took to his Twitter to laud his peers. He said, “Yea, I think tennis is in good hands 😳”

Even the former tennis players from the men’s circuit used their platforms to lavish praise on their intense rivalry on the court. Notably, the German tennis legend, Boris Becker called it “The best new rivalry in tennis,” on his Instagram story.

Other big names in the community also reacted to their incredible rally during the tournament in Miami.

After some stellar performances, the Italian tennis player will now square off with in-form Russain, Daniil Medvedev to clinch the title in Miami Gardens.
