Andre Agassi has penned down his name in the history of tennis as one of the greatest players. The former American player has won eight grand slam titles during his glorious career. Moreover, he was the first player to win all four grand slam titles on three different surfaces.

This happened when he won his first and only French Open title in 1999. His wife, Stefi Graff, on the other hand, has won six French Open titles. Agassi, in an old tweet, he teased his wife about her incredible record while taking an indirect jab at himself.
Andre Agassi jokingly nudged Steffi Graf for having more clay court majors
In 2019, Roland Garros wished Agassi on his birthday with a picture of him winning his only clay-court major in 1999. The eight-time grand slam champion took the opportunity, not only to the acknowledge the message from the official account, but rather, to tease his wife, Steffi Graf, a 22-time grand slam champion.

Steffi Graf has won six titles on the clay court major and has carried the name of women’s tennis in the 90s. Along with that, she has won four Australian Open, seven Wimbledon, and five US open titles.

The former world no.1 is only behind Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert in terms of career titles in the singles category, and only Serena Williams and Margaret Court have more Grand Slam titles.

The glorious careers of Agassi and Graf
Andre Agassi, with eight-grand slam titles under his name and one Olympic gold, is one of the best tennis players to come out of the US.

The player retired in 2006 with 60 career titles. On the other hand, his wife Steffi Graf bagged 107 career titles, including 22 grand slam titles. Both players tied the knot in 2001 and after retiring from tennis, they live with their two children while still remaining in touch with tennis.

The star couple, Graff-Agassi, have also made significant effort to give back to society, particularly through their foundations.
