Andy Roddick commends Danielle Collins’s swing with an Andre Agassi comparison

In a recent conversation with a panel of the Tennis Channel, Andy Roddick could not believe the Danielle Collins he had seen in the last couple of weeks. By slightly changing her swings, Collins has turned the game around for herself. “Do you remember a guy named Andre Agassi who would stand right up on the baseline? Take your time away, take big swings,” asked Roddick.

That’s what Collins has been doing, the last couple of weeks, right? Not missing second serve return making first serves, the air count has come way down. It no longer looks like a heart rate monitor. It’s pretty level, really impressive stuff going from the hard to the clay.”
