When it comes to tennis players who turned into brands, there are none that can claim to be better than Roger Federer and Serena Williams. The Swiss symbol of sophistication on a tennis court and the awesome American who redefined the status quo have made more money out of tennis than any other pro tennis player ever before. However, despite their mammoth earnings and current net worths, there are two players, one former and one active, who eclipse their valuation.
An Instagram post recently revealed the top 5 tennis players in terms of net worth. The revelation was quite incredible as it showed that just because you’re a great achiever in pro tennis doesn’t mean you’ll be among the richest tennis players.

Roger Federer and Serena Williams are nowhere near the asset worths of Jessica Pegula and Ion Tiriac

Despite these astonishing feats, they linger a long way behind the likes of former Romanian pro Ion Tiriac and active American ace Jessica Pegula. Tiriac’s biggest achievement is a top 10 ATP Tour ranking, while Jessica Pegula, despite being the current World No. 3 in the WTA, has yet to achieve Federer and Williams’ elite level of performance and success.
According to the Instagram post, Jessica Pegula’s net worth is an astonishing $6.7 billion. At second, Ion Tiriac seems a million miles away. His net $1.2 billion net worth is in no way less enviable.
