Taylor Swift’s charisma to draw the masses is undeniable. The American pop star is currently one of the most listened-to artists on the planet thanks to her legion of devoted superfans. A recent example of her influence on the sports world was witnessed in the NFL, where this week’s ratings jumped 7% after Taylor Swift attended her first game. Tennis is another sport the pop star influences, as a few stars recently revealed their inner Swifties.

Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe, Chris Eubanks and a couple of other tennis players were asked in a Q&A session their favorite Taylor Swift songs. Which one did they pick? Surprisingly, they not only answered but some of them even tried to sing a few lines of their faves.

Taylor Swift has a long history with tennis. She had performed “America the Beautiful” at the 2002 US Open in front of 24,000 spectators at the Arthur Ashe Stadium when was only 13 years old. She was then trying to make a name for herself in the industry. Today, she has become a global icon. When asked about his favorite Taylor Swift song Marcos Giron plainly stated, “Yeah, I’m a Taylor Swift fan, and ‘You Belong With Me’ is my favorite song.” Japanese tennis star Taro Daniel tried to recall the name saying, “It’s something had to do with Romeo & Juliet and all that,” finally recalling Love Story.

Tommy Paul picked “Me!” as his favorite, while Frances Tiafoe admitted he knows quite a few songs and is in fact a big T-Swift fan. But hilariously, he failed to single out one name of them. Chris Eubanks picked “Closure” and “Shake It Off” as the best among the rest.

Several other tennis stars had earlier expressed their love for the American pop singer. Taylor Fritz is one of them, with even Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal admitting to be Swifties. Federer even once said that he knows all Taylor Swift songs because of his children. But the biggest fan among all of them is the current world number one in women’s singles.

Swiatek‘s love for Taylor Swift’s songs was revealed when she said, “You know, when I was younger and kind of confused about life and when I was a teenager when I listened to her, I didn’t feel alone. Also, I learned English by listening to her songs, so she was always kind of close to me.“
