Ben Shelton fistbumps Taylor Townsend’s son at the Billie Jean King Cup tournament

The official Instagram profile of USTA recently shared a clip, where fans spotted Ben Shelton interacting with Taylor Townsend’s son who sat on his mother’s lap. Townsend was seen asking her son to interact with Shelton, who sat right next to her. Shelton fist-bumped the kiddo and had a small interactive chat. This moment was shared by the USTA IG account with a caption that read- “Take your child to work day, @billiejeankingcup style!”

Shelton was also spotted showing off his sunglasses to Townsend’s son as both of them had wayfarer-shaped sunglasses. In a nutshell, the moment was too adorable to miss and since USTA shared it on social media, the clip stormed the internet.

However, Ben Shelton, along with other ATP players, attended the match to support two of his colleagues Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro.

Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro were playing against Belgian players at the United States Tennis Association’s National Campus in Orlando in the BJK Cup qualifier. Ben Shelton’s arrival at the match, accompanied by Christopher Eubanks and Mackenzie McDonald added an extra element for fans after Pegula and Navarro defeated the Belgians at the match.

The Americans surged to a 2-0 lead against Belgium, led by Pegula and Navarro. Pegula secured a comeback win over Costoulas with 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, followed by Navarro’s triumph over Vandewinkel at 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. Their victories positioned the USA firmly ahead, setting the stage for a decisive showdown. Pegula and Navarro will continue in singles matches, while Keys and Townsend team up for doubles against Belgium’s Benoit and Zimmermann.
