Russian tennis star, Maria Sharapova and her long-time agent, Max Eisenbud have been one of the most successful player-agent pairs in the history of tennis. While the former World Number 1 moved to the United States early on in her career to pursue her ambitions, Eisenbud was a young agent at IMG. However, destiny found a perfect match as the two had a major impact on both of their successful careers. Recently, the two came together and were involved in a hilarious moment.
Sharapova and Eisenbud were spotted at Flushing Meadows ahead of the US Open. The last Grand Slam tournament of the season, scheduled to start next week, has already seen star power at the show even before the start of the tournament. Here’s what happened when the two got together.

The 36-year-old former world number 1 took to Instagram where she held a question and answer session with her fans. Alongside her, Eisenbud was also present as they made an appearance at Flushing Meadows.

During the session, one fan asked, “Is he Agassi? Hahaha wish both a good tournament.” Reading this, the two had a big laugh as Eisenbud was compared to the American tennis legend. Subsequently, Sharapova joked, “That is like the biggest compliment you have ever received.” Eisenbud tried to defend himself, saying, “Obviously, they haven’t seen me play tennis.” While Sharapova has landed in New York for her US Open adventure, she recently took a sly dig at the city.

Sharapova makes a ‘healthy’ confession
In one of her Instagram stories, the Russian tennis beauty shared a delectable spread of nutritious vegan delights. Posting its picture, she wrote, “cannot promise NYC will look this healthy.” Sharapova has been a fitness freak throughout her career. Even after quitting tennis, she never shies away from the gym.
